Processions

There will be three parades this year, each featuring the Statue of San Gennaro. Each parade will begin on Mulberry Street between Canal and Bayard Streets (one block south of Canal Street), and will proceed north aslong Mulberry Street to East Houston Street, east along Houston for one block to Mott Street, south on Mott to Grand Street, west on Grand to Mulberry and south on Mulberry to Canal.

Wednesday, September 19th

The Official Feast Day

There will be a Celebratory Mass in honor of San Gennaro, led by Father Fabian, Pastor of The Most Precious Blood Church, immediately followed by a religious procession in which the Statue of San Gennaro is carried through the Feast. Times of the mass and parade will be posted latter.

Wednesday, September 12 at 7:30PM (1st Screening, after screening party included)

Thursday, September 13 at 7:30PM (2nd Screening ONLY)

Special Benefit Screening of a new romantic comedy, Everybody Wants To Be An Italian, at the Angelika Theater, 18 West Houston Street, followed by dinner at De Nico Ristorante (Wednesday only), 164 Mulberry Street. Tickets are $10 and proceeds are donated to Figli de San Gennaro, the non-profit organizers of the Feast of San Gennaro..

Thursday September 13 (Open Day)

6 -8PM - The Blessing of the Stands:

Father Fabian and others from The Most Precious Blood Church will walk through the streets blessing all the vendors and merchants.

Friday September 14

2 -3PM - 4th Annual Cannoli Eating Contest: The Feast Stage at the intersection of Grand and Baxter Streets will be the sites of this eating competition, sanctioned by the International Association of Competitive Eaters, to determine who can eat the most cannoli within a given 6 minute period. The winner will recieve a Champion Belt and will be recognized as The World's Champion Cannoli Eater. Tropies will be given to 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Saturday, September 15th

Noted actor Tony Lo Bianco will be the Grand Marshal of the Feast's Annual Grand Procession which will begin at 2PM. The Statue of San Gennaro will be carried through the streets from it's permanent home at The Most Precious Blood Church.

There will also be three parade floats, marching bands and Little Italy's famous Red Mike Festival Band. At 1PM, prior to the start of the Procession, a ceremony will be held in the Patio of The Most Precious Blood Church where Tony Lo Bianco will be added to the Little Italy Hall of Fame.

FEAST OF SAN GENNARO PREFORMANCE STAGE SCHEDULE
